THIS DRUM IS IN THE MUSEUM SECTION OF OUR MANHATTAN STORE.  This snare drum is the Tama brass shell drum used by Elvin Jones during the period of 1978-1988 during the time when Elvin was endorsing Tama drums. This is a historic instrument played by one of the most innovative drummers that ever lived. This snare drum also comes with Elvin's well worn flight case complete with decals etc. The drum comes complete with a certificate of authenticity from our friend Donn Bennett. Donn was instrumental in working with Elvin's widow, Keiko, after Elvin passed away, and this instrument was one of those that Donn acquired. This drum is a piece of music history that can not be replicated. SOLD.
