Chicago store has moved to Naperville

10/14 Update:  The move is now totally finished! Every kit, snare, cymbal, head, stick, piece of hardware, etc is now all in the new Naperville, IL store. We finished today. It's so crowded in here we can barely move around, but we're having fun! Come down and see us Fridays 11-6 and Saturdays 10-5. If you're in the area Mon-Thurs were techincally not open those days but if we're in the shop you are welcome to come on in.  630-778-8060 is the number.

9/12 Update: COME ON DOWN! WE'RE OPENING IN NAPERVILLE ON FRIDAY 9/17. 11AM-6PM. SATURDAY WE'LL BE OPEN 10-5! Steve has a lot of the old inventory moved over and lots of new items as well. We'll be moving more in over the next few weeks and we'll have a grand opening later on, but we're ready for everyone starting Friday 9/17. We'll post our store hours shortly. We'll do at least Fri and Sat, and maybe Thursdays as well. FREE STARBUCKS COFFEE 9/17 and 9/18.

- NOTE: Saturday 8/28 is the last day that the Chicago store will be open. After this date we'll take the next two weeks to move the bulk of our inventory over to Naperville.

- We'll move the big display racks 9/1 and then the rest of the inventory over the next week or two so we're closing in on a "soft" opening for Naperville in mid September, with a formal opening no later than October 1st. .

- Our new location will be at:

1163 East Ogden Ave. Naperville, Illinois 60563 (In the Iroquois Shopping Center).

- Store hours still to be determined, but we'll start with Fridays and Saturdays and expand from there.

- We're going to have special events planned for Saturdays at the shop, including discussion seminars covering great jazz drummers (past and present) and their work within some of the finest jazz ensembles of all time. We'll have a great "hang" area in the shop and we'll be showing videos of great drummers past and present, as well as streaming our NY store inventory on the monitor in the Naperville shop as well. We'll be doing some technique clinics as well as other seminars. This will be THE place for you to come for all your drumming needs, including equipment, lessons, educational information and the ability to meet other fine players and network with them.

This location will give us lots more space, tons of free parking, and a location that is easy for customers to get to. Stay tuned for more info! Email Steve at drummermax@aol.com if any questions.
