Rogers 20/12/12/16" Drum Set - Champagne Sparkle 1960s CLEAN!!
This Rogers set in Champagne Sparkle ("Pink Champagne Pearl" as Rogers called it) is almost a straight up time capsule. SUPER CLEAN. The wrap is absolutely perfect. Consistently bright / vibrant and free of blemishes. When you look at it you think it HAS to be a re-wrap as it looks like it left the Rogers factory yesterday. However there are small signs that tell us this is in fact the original wrap (such as color of the glue on close inspection of the wrap seams). The only signs of wear on this set is that a couple of the bass drum T-Rods are a little bent (they are still functional and could probably be bent back to near straight), and some typical black paint chipped off of the bass drum hoop.
STEVE'S NOTES: I originally sold this set awhile ago and can attest to how incredibly clean it is. This is like factory-new. Double tom holder as shown, but also fitted with bracket for cymbal arm (arm not included) and bracket for single tom holder (single tom arm not included, but can use one of the arms from the double tom holder, although those are a bit short). Factory matched set despite slight difference in tags, which is common when the transiton was made from Cleveland to Dayton. See this breakdown below:
14x20 - Dayton, Powertone badge with "powertone" crossed out and "holiday" written next to it. (This is "factory" since they changed the model name from "Holiday" to "Powertone" circa 1964, so they used up the old paper tags and just crossed out one name and wrote in the other)
16x16 - Cleveland, Holiday
8x12 #2 - Dayton, Holiday
8x12 #1 - Cleveland, Holiday
You see this drum set and just say "wow...". It's like traveling back in time it looks so good, and sounds just as good. You will not be disappointed.
