We’ve got a Craviotto drum set on the way to Roberto Tini, Producer at Abbey Road Studio, and we’re now sending down this array of additional Craviotto snares. Descriptions and pics below!

5x14 Ambrosia Maple. Private Reserve. 45 degree edges. Ambrosia Maple has classic maple tone, and the visual is really interesting. Each drum is visually different because of the striations in the wood. There is a beetle (not the Abbey Road Beatle!) that lives in this wood. They make tiny pinholes as they burrow, and the striations are actually caused by the excrement of the beetle. This drum is an excellent example of maple in a 5x14 size.

6.5x14 Walnut. 45 degree edges. I personally selected this walnut drum from our others, because the grain is especially beautiful. Walnut has more warmth than maple. Walnut sits in the middle, with maple being brighter, and mahogany being warmer.

6.5x14 20th Anniversary model. Curly Maple/Maple/Curly Maple with double row of real marine pearl abalone inlay, and grey/black stain. This was a very limited edition that we did for the 20th Anniversary of Craviotto. This drum will give you the depth of a 6.5 in maple. Johnny’s favorite wood was always maple. Even today, our maple drums are the most popular, and the 6.5x14 is typically the preferred size.
