This drum that we are brokering is a custom 12 lug Remo 4x14 snare that was made for Louie Bellson and used on his 2006 recording, "The Sacred Music of louie Bellson and The Jazz Ballet". This drum was given in 2006 to a client of mine who was a close friend of Louie's for decades. I have his letter of authentication as well. See my online video discussing this drum HERE.

As many of you know, Louie was a Remo drumhead artist for his entire career, and later in his career he was involved with Remo as a contibutor in R&D for Remo Drums, and he endorsed Remo drums. 

This drum is, of course, a one-off and totally unique. It is important to note that this is a 12 lug drum. Most snares are 8 or 10 lugs. However, when Louie endorsed Slingerland in the 70s he designed a 12 lug model there. This Remo drum is a continuation of his idea, and it is the only one made.
