DOMESTIC SHIPPING (all items): Our preferred vendor for US shipping is FedEx, but we also can ship via the US Postal Service and UPS if the customer has a preference.
RETURNS: Any domestic sale item that is not as described or does not meet the customer's expectations can be returned within 7 business days of receipt. New items must be un-opened and in original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and a 3% restocking fee applies to all returns for which a credit card or PayPal was used for purchase. International returns are not accepted except under special circumstances at our discretion. If an international return is granted, the buyer pays outbound and return shipping.
SPECIAL ORDERS: Items specially ordered to a customers specifications may not be eligible for return, or may be returned at the discretion of the Maxwell staff.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (drum sets): International drum set orders are shipped via FedEx and shipping will be calculated upon the buyer providing the shipping address and post code. We do not use the US Postal Service for overseas drum set shipping due to their box size restrictions. Additionally, the US Postal Service tracking method on overseas packages is not as good as that of FedEx. UPS can be used for International shipping of drum sets if the customer specifically requests it, but our preferred vendor for overseas shipping is FedEx. For Customs purposes all overseas shipments are declared at full value. All customs taxes and fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (snare drums and cymbals). We generally use US Postal Service for International shipping for snare drums and cymbals due to lower cost than other providers, however, we can use FedEx or UPS upon the customer's request.
