1. J JRUMS custom snares now at Fork's

NEW at FORK’S!

Fork’s is very excited to add J Jrums to our snare drum line-up! See them HERE.

In today’s world of a thousand “I assemble” or "copy cat" drum brands, once in a blue moon you run across something so interesting and unique, you simply must give it a try!   Handcrafted in NJ, many of  J Jrums’ snares are unique in the fact they use beautiful exotic woods. But not just as a pretty face (outer ply), many of the drums are fully created from the core raw materials. To be noted, the majority of J Jrum shells are Stave shells, which sound completely different than the status quo assortment of plywood drums in the marketplace.

STSB1-This incredible 7x14 snare drum is made of 100% Bubinga. The shell is a stave shell. Bubinga delivers an amazingly sharp attack with rich, warm tone. This drum is outfitted with tube lugs, die-cast hoops and a Trick throw-off. List price-$1250. Fork's price-$749.

STSB2- This incredible 7x14” snare drum is made of 100% Bubinga. This shell design is a Stave shell. Bubinga wood delivers an amazingly sharp attack with rich warm tone.  This drum is outfitted with Tube Lugs, 2.3 Triple Flange hoops and a Mag throw-off.  List price- $1042   Fork’s price- $625

STSP1- Yet another amazing drum, this 7x14” snare drum is made of 100% Purple Heart. This shell design is a Stave shell.  Purple Heart is one of the most aggressive sounding woods, the attack, cut and projection provided here is unparalleled for a wood shell. This sound, combined with it’s unique body and tone are truly special. This drum sounds like nothing you’ve ever heard!  This drum is outfitted with Tube Lugs, 2.3 Triple Flange hoops and a Mag throw-off.  List price- $1115   Fork’s price- $669

PLSB1- This interesting 7x14” snare drum features 10 plies of 100% Bubinga. The sound offered here is a little more traditional, calling on the richness of the Bubinga wood to provide cut combined with warm, rich low frequencies.  List price- $833   Fork’s price- $499

STSWM1- This wonderful 7x14” snare drum is made of 100% Wormy Maple.  This shell design is a Stave shell.  Wormy Maple is a little softer and warmer than “Rock Maple” but still delivers the full range of frequencies that Maple is famous for, working well for all kinds of musical styles.  This drum is outfitted with Tube Lugs, 2.3 Triple Flange hoops and a Mag throw-off.  List price- $833   Fork’s price- $499

PLSB2O- Here we have another wonderful 10-ply Bubinga snare drum, finished with exquisitely figured Olive Ash Burl. The sound offered here is a little more traditional, calling on the richness of the Bubinga wood to provide cut combined with warm, rich low frequencies.  This drum is outfitted with Tube lugs, Die Cast hoops and a Trick throw-off.  List price- $1209     Fork’s price- $725

STSCCB- This sharp 6x14” snare drum is an interesting combination of Cherry and Cherry Burl. This shell design is a stave shell with rotating blocks.  Cherry’s sound is typically softer and warmer than Maple but still delivers a wide range of frequencies that are pleasing to the ear. The sound isn’t harsh, nor is it dull and dry, it’s in the “sweet spot” in the middle.   This drum is outfitted with Tube Lugs, 2.3 Triple Flange hoops, and a Mag throw-off.  List price- $749    Fork’s price- $449

STSBZ- In yet another interesting wood combination, this 7x14” snare drum combines Bubinga wood with Zebra wood. This shell design is a Stave shell with rotating blocks. Zebra wood is one of the strongest hardwoods on the planet and pairs well with Bubinga. This drum delivers lots of sharp attack, but still has a subtle warmness as a result of the Bubinga’s rich low frequency traits. This drum is outfitted with Tube Lugs, 2.3 Triple Flange hoops, and a Mag throw-off.  List price- $ 915     Fork’s price- $549

STSSM- This stunning 7x14” snare drum combines African Sapele wood with Maple. This shell design is a Stave shell with rotating blocks. Sapele wood is a medium density hardwood and combines well with Maple. This drum delivers a respectable amount of attack, but still exhibits a wide frequency range as a result of the Maple’s sonic traits. This drum is outfitted with Tube Lugs, 2.3 Triple Flange hoops, and a Mag throw-off.  List price- $ 749     Fork’s price- $449

STSCM- Here is another wonderful 7x14” snare drum in Curly Maple.  The finish on this drum is absolutely beautiful, and it sounds as good as it looks! Curly Maple delivers a softer sound than typical Maple drums, the sound produced is warm, rich and controlled. This drum is the perfect compliment to nearly every kind of music. This drum is outfitted with Tube Lugs, 2.3 Triple Flange hoops, and a Mag throw-off.  List price- $ 833     Fork’s price- $499
