02/03/12: In Naperville: Ludwig gold sparkle 13,16,16,20 keystone badge kit from circa 1965. Brought to me by the original owner. Has original Frank's Drum Shop stickers still on 3 of the drums. Gold sparkle very vibrant. I need one BD hoop and two claws to finish it off and I will get these. Nice shape and well cared for. $1100. It is sky blue pearl but it has aged to a green so it literally looks like green marine pearl. Has a single set-o-matic tom holder as well as a double set o matic tom holder. It sets up as a 9x13, 16x16, 14x22, with 5x14 solid shell Artist model that sounds incredible. All drums have 4 digit closely matched serial numbers including an 8x12 that's included as well, and also a 16x18. There is also a matching canister throne. There is a cymbal L arm bracket mounted on the  BD. There is one extra hole on the BD and it is plugged. The kit sets up with the 8x12 and 9x13 using the double set o matic holder. The 8x12 has aged to the same green as the rest. The 16x18 was never gigged with and as a result, it is still very much sky blue and it hasn't greened-up like the others. The canister throne has greened up to match the set. Set looks seriously cool with the green and the matching canister throne too. Still has unplayed original heads on bottom of toms. Needs some elbow grease to clean it and make it sparkle, and I'd repaint the BD hoops if I were you.  So, the 13/16/22/5x14 solid shell, plus canister throne and the 8x12 and double tom holder are going to go as a set at $1350. That's an excellent deal. The 16x18 is an extra $350 if you want it, but since it hasn't greened-up like the others it's probably best sold as a separate. Just arrived. 8x12 has a Tama bracket where the diamond plate was. 14x20 has a Tama BD bracket. 14x14 has no extra holes at all. A little seam lift on the 12 which we'll glue down. We can plug the BD extra holes and patch, and install a rail consolette if you like. On the 8x12, a diamond plate will cover the extra holes.
