This kit is off the charts ridiculous! Johnny took inspiration for this kit from the duco finishes of the 1950s and it is creme lacquer with a center stripe of gold shimmer and gold sparkle inlay on the hoops. This is exquisitely beautiful but it is THE HARDEST finish I have ever tried to photograph because of the way the light reflects off the colors. The creme lacquer is smooth and beautiful and the center gold shimmer is truly that: "shimmering gold". With a lot of light the colors wash out and you can't appreciate it. Without enough light the photos make the center strip look darker. So, we took a lot of different shots here to try to give you the best representation. It is truly incredible. Pictures will never do it justice. This was a special order by Steve and intended to be a vintage build out style kit. All baseball bat "BB" edges. The shells are solid maple and the sizes are 14x22" bass drum, 9x13" tom, 16x16" floor tom, 6.5x14" snare drum. In addition, the toms and snare drum are equipped with double-flanged straight hoops and our own Maxwell rail consolette for a serious vintage vibe. The bass drum hoops were stained to match the creme color of the shell. This kit looks and sounds completely amazing. Don't miss it!
