The good folks at DRUM! Magazine have awarded us with their Editor's Commendation Advertising Award.

This past Spring a creative director at one of the advertising agencies I work with said this to me. "The toughest thing about advertising is getting a good plan and then sticking to it. I've never failed a client if we created creative ads and stuck to a plan. But clients often don't understand how long it takes."
I couldnt agree more. Over 34 years in publishing what I've seen is that advertisers who are both creative and consistent are the ones who thrive. In business we all face daily obstacles that challenge our ability to stay focused and to access the resources we need to get the job done.
With that in mind we decided that twice a year we wanted to look at the ads in DRUM! Magazine (and online) and choose a few that we think excel at capturing reader attention and communicating a story to the readership. Our editors and ad staff voted on the best ads and campaigns in a recent issue. We are proud to honor Steve Maxwell Vintage and Custom Drums for the enclosed advertising effort.
