HOW WE SUPPORT MUSIC

We appreciate the support we receive from the drumming community worldwide, and as a part of our commitment to give back to the music community we're proud to support the following:

NEW YORK

Kitano Jazz Club: This beautiful, intimate jazz club is located in the Kitano Hotel on Park Avenue in Manhattan. It's a great venue operated by wonderful people and we've seen some fantastic jazz here. We're proud to support Kitano by providing and servicing the Gretsch USA drum set for the club. A great jazz club in NYC deserves the drums that were born in Brooklyn! Check out Kitano here: http://www.kitano.com/Jazz-at-Bar-Lounge

New York University: The jazz program at NYU is superb and boasts a fantastic faculty roster. We're proud to support NYU with Gretsch USA drum sets and also with student, faculty, and music program discounts through our shop.  Check out NYU's jazz program here: http://steinhardt.nyu.edu/music/jazz/

Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls: This is a great organization dedicated to providing music training for girls and women. They do a fantastic job. We're proud to support WMRC with instruments since they're always in need of gear. If you've got some old, but useful instruments you'd like to donate please contact them, or bring them to us and we'll get them to the camp. See their website here: http://williemaerockcamp.org/

CHICAGO

The Jazz Showcase: The second oldest jazz club in the USA is still operated by Joe Segal and it is a world class venue that you should not miss. We support the Jazz Showcase in several ways: We provide and service the Craviotto house kit at the Showcase. Additionally, in conjunction with the area's finest FM jazz station WDCB 90.9 FM, we sponsor WDCB Night At The Jazz Showcase. Once each month prominent local talent is featured on this night, and we sponsor the event so that admission is free to all who attend. This gives exposure to new talent and it also allows for people to come in and experience jazz with no admission cost for the evening. See the Jazz Showcase website at http://www.jazzshowcase.com/  And, for great jazz on FM radio all day long visit WDCB 90.9 FM here: http://wdcb.org/

Andy's Jazz Club: Andy's is another great Chicago jazz club and they feature a fantastic line up and a great listening room. We're proud to support Andy's by providing their house kit which is a Gretsch USA drum set. Check them out here: http://www.andysjazzclub.com/
